Lighthouse Phuket International Cricket Sixes 2005 PHOTO GALLERY
Thai school children have a go at cricket
Children from Baan Kata Primary School, Phuket, were given one hour’s coaching each day, and on the final day of the tournament took part in a Thai kids demonstration cricket match. One of the aims of the Lighthouse Phuket International Cricket Sixes is to encourage local children to play the game of cricket and help the sport grow and develop in Phuket.

Before the finals of the tournament, the children were given the chance to show what they had learned over the last four days in front of all the players and spectators
Cheered on by an enthusiastic audience the children put on an impressive display with several sixes clearing the boundary
When not learning cricket, these primary school children were acting as ballboys, scampering up the bank to search for balls hit into the trees
